- The world of mortals.
- The first syllable of the first word spoken by the first of the Numina, with which the world was created.
Numina
Transcendant beings of vast power; those who rebuilt the world after the great battle between Vanu Mar and Korro Khaitan, and who are believed to each have influence or control over certain aspects of it. (See Numina)
